The winners of the Summer Worker of the Year competition have been announced
The Summer Worker of the Year competition has now been decided and the winners are Liam Rajicic - Han i hörnet Bistro in Mariefred, Aboulfazi Alijar - Vildmarkshotellet in Kolmården and Karl Winberg - Bondens Skafferi in Åhus.
The aim of the competition is to raise the profile of young people in the hospitality industry and showcase the career opportunities the industry offers. The Summer Worker of the Year competition was initiated by Svenska Kulturpärlor in 2018.
- We want to highlight young people who do a fantastic job and show that the hotel and restaurant industry offers great opportunities for those who want to develop, says Fredrik Åström, CEO of Svenska Kulturpärlor.
Summer Worker of the Year is a way for us to encourage more people to dare to take the step into one of the world's most dynamic and joyful industries.
In addition to the honor and the title of Summer Worker of the Year, the winners will also enjoy a luxurious weekend at one of our gems Dufweholms Herrgård, Gripsholms Värdshus or Södertuna Slott.
