Gripsholms Värdshus, which received its inn privileges in 1609, is located in the small town idyll of Mariefred overlooking Gripsholm Castle. Today, both short- and long-distance guests are welcomed here to enjoy conferences, weekends, weddings and parties.
The restaurants are open 365 days a year and during the winter, guests can enjoy well-prepared home cooking in Skänken or fine dining in Matsalen. During the summer, Gripsholms Värdshus opens up the outdoor seating at Skänken, the Garden Restaurant and on the café deck.

Callanderska Gården Schweizeri is a cafe in Mariefred, nestled in a lush courtyard a stone's throw from Gripsholms Värdshus. We serve home-baked goods from our own Gripsholms Bageri with rustic breads, sweet pastries, hearty dishes, sandwiches, coffee, tea and soft drinks.
The farm also has a weaving mill, herb garden, flea market and farm shop under the auspices of Mariefreds Hembygdsförening.

Gripsholms Bageri & Konditori is our bakery in Mariefred where we bake the bread and pastries our guests enjoy at all our Locations .
Everything from breakfast bread to sweet pastries is baked here with a focus on good flavors and ingredients chosen with thought. The bread is a natural part of the meals and an important part of the whole we want to convey to our guests.
We like to use local ingredients and believe in the value of personal craftsmanship. What comes out of the oven in the morning sets the tone for the day, whether you have breakfast at the inn, at one of our other Locations or take a bag home with you.
