Incredibly cozy inn that has great service and a must when visiting Mariefred. Don't forget to visit the cozy wine cellar.

Perfect birthday stay. The accommodation in the Gustav III suite was a very nice at a not too great cost. Everything in the room was good, of course a big plus for the bathtub. Food at the restaurant was well prepared in the classic Swedish bistro school. No surprises which we did not want, good well cooked food straight up and down. We had both lunch and dinner. The mostly young staff do their job in the best way.

A very nice stay, the room with a nice view of Lake Mälaren and Gripsholm Castle, the staff fantastic both at the reception and the restaurant, the food was also good! We were also lucky with the weather, the breakfast was of a very nice class, you had very good quark pancakes!

Coming to Gripsholms Värdshus is a bit like coming home. In the past year, I myself have had 13 courses at the Inn, usually 3 days each time. Otherwise, I have lost count of how many times I have been there over 11 years.

The inn is always my first choice because of the great service, the premises, the food and the surrounding environment in Mariefred. Gripsholms Värdshus also tickles my interest in history, both inside the establishment, in conversations with the owner family and the surrounding areas.

My experience is that nothing is impossible to solve, the staff really fix EVERYTHING! In the summer, I often go to the Inn to have a coffee at their outdoor café.

Had a two day conference at the resort. Very nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The conference room was perfectly ok. The food was very good and the breakfast buffet contained most things. The hotel room was cozy decorated.

Nice environment, very good food. One feels royally met. Close to the castle. Historic environment near the Old Town and the Church, by Lake Mälaren. Good service. Good price. Good quality. Recommended. In the summer you have a great view of Lake Mälaren when you eat on the terrace. Otherwise, you can eat today's lunch during the week with a reasonable price.

Fantastic rooms in classic style. Proximity to all attractions is a big plus. Gripholms castle within easy walking distance. A guided tour of Mariefred is to be recommended. One hour tour and you have a good overview of the history. Of course, a visit to the castle!

Nice conference accommodation. A nice little oasis, perfect place for a business gathering. Nice rooms, good conference rooms, good food and nice treatment. The accommodation is nicely located by the water and with the castle as a neighbor. Take the opportunity to order a tour of the castle.

Pleasant Got very good treatment from the staff in general, but especially impressed the staff in the bar and restaurant. Very good! The food was delicious as well as the drinks that were recommended. Will gladly return!

Fresh and quiet room although it was a bit small. Very comfortable beds in the best hotel class! Shower and toilet in the corridor worked well. Nice with a garden and easy to park the bikes outside the house. The breakfast buffet served at the inn was great!
