The book about our art fence
A celebration of 500 years of Swedish history. National Day, June 6, 2025, was a day to remember. Not only did we celebrate Sweden's national day, but also the book release of Sweden 500 years - the book that collects the artworks from our unique art fence at Gripsholms Värdshus.
The book presents the 71 works of art and the artists behind each idea and interpretation of Swedish history. An art project that has grown step by step along our fence and which today has become an appreciated part of Mariefred's cultural environment.
